Andrew

Quirky, slightly eccentric owner, who started in the cycle industry in 1994, as a Saturday lad for a national company. Finally after many years, and roles within the cycle industry, he decided in late 2020 to set up ‘The Broom Wagon Cyclery’ Andrew has a keen interest in anything mechanical with wheels, but his main focus and passion has always been for cycles.
When he does get some spare time he enjoys his gravel bike, and heading off away from the hustle and bustle of modern life!

Dani

So, much as I’ve always been a ‘dog’ person, my wonderful wife Claire prefers cats. So, it was inevitable that a cat would be joining the team! Without further ado, I introduce ‘Dani’ a rescue kitten we took on over New year 2023, and now very much part of the family, and ‘head of pest control, & security’ Seriously, she’s scarier than any German shepherd I’ve owned!!

Eva

The workhorse of the business! Eva is a 1980 Citroen Acadiane who came over to the UK from the South of France in the summer of 2021. Occasionally tempramental, and with a penchant for premium fuel, she’s been a great addition to the business, and is a talking point wherever she goes.

Léa

Léa is the second Citroen Acadiane I’ve owned, but this time a right hand drive variant! She’s from 1981, still as temperamental, and still with a penchant for premium fuel! Still to be fitted out for daily cycle repair duties too, and those film buffs, you’ll have spotted the link between van names, and Bond girl actresses!

Brompton

When Andrew mentioned he was keen to have a ‘workshop dog’ his lovely wife Claire’s keen sense of humour took over, and soon after he was presented with Brompton! Not quite what Andrew had in mind, but Brompton’s very quiet, and has kept a solid look out over the workshop ever since!
